A downloadable media player

a simple media player with some QoL features.
minimalistic UI, minimalistic input system, lazy developer, whats not to love?

fully open source, and by that i mean you can just edit the code its right there lol

up and down to move selection, enter to select
please check out the usage guide on the main menu it has more keybindings

supports:

  • probably most media formats, idk
  • loops
  • shows song names in song list
  • multiple folders in the song data folder
  • discord rich presence
  • beat visualizer (its literally just a flashy line lol)
  • album covers (NEW! and EXCITING!)

Install instructions

download python 3, anything after 3.9 should work

download pygame and pypresence with pip or your local linux package manager

if installing over a version before folders, delete your song data
if installing over a version after folders, leave it alone
if installing for the first time, ignore this and just extract the zip

start __main__.pyw, double click on windows or open with pyw on linux
